Children often experience a wide range of emotions during divorce or separation — confusion, sadness, worry, anger, or even guilt. Our virtual support group provides a warm, compassionate space where kids can explore these feelings safely while connecting with peers who truly understand what they’re going through. Facilitated by a trained child therapist, this group is designed for children adjusting to two households, new routines, blended families, or any transitions that come with family change.

The sessions are fully interactive and age-appropriate for online participation, helping parents feel confident that their child will stay engaged and supported. For the best experience, children should also feel comfortable being on camera so they can participate meaningfully in group activities and discussions

What we focus on:

  • Building Resilience: Strengthening coping skills, confidence, and emotional flexibility.

  • Fostering Community: Connecting with peers who share similar experiences — so kids know they’re not alone.

  • Acceptance & Understanding: Supporting children as they adjust to new routines, living arrangements, or blended families.

  • Normalizing New Family Definitions: Celebrating the diverse and meaningful ways families can look when love leads the way.
